Reviews
The hotel/restaurant is situated in a beautiful village surrounded by mountains where the air is pure, clean and away from pollution noises of cities . Very relaxing and the view of the valley is spectacular. The food is just excellent, authentic, prepared carefully with various fresh fruits and vegetables, meat/fish of the season. The owner is very gentle to our small kids and made our stay very comfortable even for a short stay. The room was very clean and spacious. Very relaxing and comfortable stay we enjoyed. We appreciate very much for the owner's attention and would love to come back again.
Small business, but great quality.
We stayed a few nights and enjoyed the silence and the fresh air of Eifel.
The food was great at breakfast, and the in the evenings it was a delight.
Looking forward for the next time we will be visiting.
I found this little gem on one of my walking adventures with my puppers a few weeks ago. I was surprised to see a hotel/restaurant combo in such a tiny village. I saw some people in the garden/courtyard area of the restaurant so thought I would stop in. I was told by a gentleman that they were not open yet but please come back in about 2 weeks. I stated that I would and asked if I could bring my dog with me. He said "of course". I went back today with a few friends and the dog. The were open for business and we got to sit in the biergarten/patio area that I spoke of earlier. It's a small area with about 10 or so tables. It was a bit chilly today but they had small throws at each table for the customer's comfort. I saw the proprietor/server that I had spoke to the last time I was there. He is the most helpful and wonderful host! He brought out a bowl for the dog's water. He offered us a tour of the place and gave us a bit of history. He and a colleague very recently purchased and renovated the place. We ordered our drinks and were brought out some cute little containers of popcorn and corn nuts for munching. A hot tea, coke, beer and a shot was only 10 Euros. Cute little succulents on each table, and blooming flowers around. There is a table off to the side that is a bit more secluded. This place is absolutely charming. It is small and renovated gorgeously. More renovations are taking place and I wish I would be here in Germany long enough to see them. Only 2 more days in this country, but I will try to get back to try the food before I leave. There is a cozy bar inside that seats about 6 or so people at the actual bar, plus tables for more people. There is another courtyard on the other side of the building which is just as adorable. The owner stated there are about 8-10 rooms. The village is nestled in a small valley and offers a quaint train station and many biking/hiking trails, alongside a babbling brook. The hotel is next to a church. All the churches in this area are sites to see. Sadly, there is currently construction that blocks off road L2 cross that brook, so plan accordingly when you go. And you should definitely go!
Small, pretty quiet. Pet friendly. The restaurant had me skeptical because I waited 20 minutes to get a drink and an hour (no joke it was an hour and 13 minutes) before I left because people who walked in after me got their food already.i had yet to get my order taken. The hotel is amazing. Rooms are nice. Cheap prices, breakfast was more of a brunch deal but that's alright
Very nice cosy hotel. It is situated in the middle of a very small town. Run by two Dutch guys that make an effort to make you feel welcome. Rooms are relatively small but enough. Diner is excellent and normally made by one of the owners. Make sure you reserve ahead of time as seats are limited. Parking at the hotel and across the street.
The food, Service, location is amazing. This Place deserves a Couple of Mitchelline Stars its so good! I highly recommend it. Fish n Chips is the best in Germany! Hands down!
A quaint little hotel. Beautiful building that has been completely refurbished. Spacious rooms very clean and modern. Friendly staff, and a very humorous and good natured hotel keeper. Breakfast buffet excellent. All this for a very …
Absolut recommended, beautiful little beer garden in Auw an der Kyll. We had a "Bit" exactly how it should be and an excellent meal. Very nice and friendly staff. Inside the bar everything was clean and appeared to be new. We'll come back.
Great place to get away and relax. A quiet picturesque village complete with a bubbling brook and train station. Almost forgot to add the excellent restaurant!!! Don't miss it!!
Delicious food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. Amazing place
